Here are some photos from a recent electrical troubleshooting job in Hoover at a commercial shopping center. After visiting the location it was determined that a service upgrade was necessary.

We upgraded the electrical service to a 200 amp service. There was a bad code violation here originally, a wire rated for 125 amps fed into a 200amp box. This melted the conduit so we had to pull the old wire out one at a time and replace it with all new wire.

We are glad we got called out to look at this as it was a fire just waiting to happen. Please always make sure you always have a licensed and insured electrician working on any electrical work in your home or business. This isn’t something anyone should ever try to do yourself.
